About TICAU
TICA U was founded by The International Cat Association (TICA) the world's largest genetic registry of pedigreed cats. Our organization has members and clubs in Latin America, North America, Asia, Europe and Africa and continues to grow all around the world.
TICA recognizes fifty-five breeds of cats for championship competition - from the regal Siamese, exotic Bengal and exquisite Persian, to newer breeds including the Savannah, Kurilian Bobtail and Thai.
TICA also is the world's largest registry of household pet cats and kittens. Household pet cats and kittens adopted from shelters or rescued off the street, compete for titles and international and regional awards, just like pedigreed cats.
TICA feels that cat shows should be fun for exhibitors and spectators alike. Our motto is "Fabulous felines...fun...friendships". To learn what this means, explore our website or visit a local TICA cat show. You will find TICA filled with cat lovers just like you. We come from all professions. We are women, men, and kids. We are cat breeders and animal rescuers. We are tireless champions for the welfare of cats. We may speak different languages and enjoy different customs.
